The supplied wiring is simple, and reverse-polarity protection reduces the chance of immediate damage if the leads are accidentally swapped during setup. Accurate capacity estimates still require the correct battery type and voltage configuration. Lithium battery voltage can remain relatively flat through much of the discharge cycle, so the percentage display may not match a BMS exactly. Before mounting, confirm the dashboard space, wiring reach, pack voltage, chemistry, and preferred display settings.
