HOWBOW Brake Shoes & Spring Kit for EZGO TXT, Medalist & Yamaha

About this product

This HOWBOW brake shoe kit is intended for selected EZGO and Yamaha golf carts using the compatible drum-brake assembly. EZGO coverage includes 1997-up TXT, Medalist, and Workhorse gas or electric carts as described for the kit. Yamaha coverage is listed for 1994-2006 G-series applications including G2 through G22 families identified in the fitment information.

The package includes four brake shoes plus the associated spring and installation hardware, along with instructions. The shoes use a composite friction material and steel spring hardware. OEM references include EZGO numbers such as 27943-G01, 27945-G01, 70794-G01, 70795-G01, and 27944G01, plus several Yamaha brake references.

This kit is explicitly not for EZGO RXV models and should not be assumed to fit every four-cycle EZGO cart. Before ordering, compare the exact cart model, year, existing brake assembly, and OEM reference. Correct spring placement and brake adjustment should be checked after installation before normal use.
