About this product
The DC HOUSE 48V 50Ah LiFePO4 battery kit is a compact lithium conversion option for compatible 48V golf carts. The pack uses LiFePO4 chemistry, a built-in 100A BMS, Bluetooth connectivity, and a dedicated battery monitor for checking state of charge, voltage, current, and other operating information. An 18A lithium charger is included.
The BMS provides protection against overcurrent, overload, short circuit, and temperature extremes. Low-temperature cut-off is included to help prevent charging or discharging under unsafe cold conditions. The battery is rated for more than 4,000 cycles under appropriate use and charging conditions. Charging time is listed at roughly three hours with the included 18A charger when conditions allow.
Compatibility should be checked more carefully than simply matching “48V.” Verify battery tray dimensions, terminal arrangement, charger connection, continuous and peak current requirements, and the cart controller’s demand. The pack can be expanded by connecting two identical batteries in parallel for up to 100Ah; it should not be connected in series. For golf cart use, make sure peak current demand stays within the supported BMS limits.
