The current Club Car Onward family spans 2-, 4- and 6-passenger personal transportation vehicles, with lifted and non-lifted choices plus street-legal LSV configurations in the four-passenger range. As of October 2026, Club Car’s current U.S. site shows starting MSRP from about $10,099 for the Onward 2 Passenger, while larger and LSV configurations move into the mid-$teens and beyond.
MSRP is only a starting point. Powertrain, lithium battery size, lifted suspension, wheels, seats, accessories, freight, setup, tax and dealer pricing can change the final number.

These are starting figures shown on Club Car’s current U.S. personal-vehicle pages. Specific powertrain pages can list higher MSRPs, especially for lithium configurations, so compare the exact build rather than treating the table as an out-the-door quote.
Onward 2 Passenger
The two-passenger Onward is the smallest and least expensive entry point. Current specifications list gas, flooded lead-acid electric and lithium power options. It is the simplest choice for two adults who do not need a rear seat and want the shortest overall vehicle.
Current Onward specifications include up to 19 mph for standard personal-transport configurations. The non-lifted format is easier to enter, easier to store and less likely to create garage-height problems than lifted or multi-row models.
Onward 4 Passenger
The conventional four-passenger Onward uses a 2+2 layout with a rear seat. Club Car lists both non-lifted and lifted versions. The non-lifted four-passenger model is about 108 inches long, while the lifted version is roughly 114 inches long according to current specifications.
The rear-seat layout makes this configuration useful for families, neighborhood driving and property transportation, but the added passengers change load, braking and suspension demands. If you plan to modify one, use our Onward lift-kit guide and Onward seat-cover guide for model-specific fitment.
Lifted vs non-lifted Onward 4 Passenger
The lifted version adds ground clearance, a taller seating position and a more aggressive wheel/tire setup. It also raises the center of gravity and overall height. Club Car currently lists about 4.5 inches of ground clearance for the non-lifted 4 Passenger and about 6.4 inches for the lifted configuration.
Choose lifted for rougher property paths or the appearance, not because every owner needs the extra height. Non-lifted carts remain easier for children and older passengers to enter.
Onward 4 Passenger LSV choices
Club Car currently lists two four-passenger LSV configurations: the Onward 4 Passenger (2+2) LSV and an Onward 4 Forward LSV. Current site listings show speeds up to 25 mph and seatbelts for these street-legal vehicle configurations.
An LSV is not simply a standard Onward with a light kit. Federal and state/local equipment, registration, VIN, speed and road-use rules apply. Confirm where the vehicle will be registered before paying for an LSV configuration.
Onward 6 Passenger
The six-passenger Onward is aimed at larger groups and has a much longer body than the two- or four-seat versions. Club Car currently offers lifted and non-lifted six-passenger versions. The current model detail page also shows flooded lead-acid, gas and XR lithium options with powertrain-specific pricing.
Six-seat carts need more room for parking, trailers and turning. They also put more load on tires, suspension and brakes when fully occupied. Check vehicle load capacity and tire ratings rather than assuming six adult passengers plus cargo are always within limits.
Gas, flooded lead-acid and lithium
Current Onward models can be configured with different powertrains depending on passenger layout. The current two- and four-passenger specifications list a 429cc Kohler EFI gas engine, 48V flooded lead-acid electric system, and Club Car lithium options. Lithium reduces routine watering/terminal maintenance and can substantially reduce vehicle weight compared with flooded lead-acid.
For lithium-specific details, see our Onward lithium specifications guide.
What changes the final price?
- Gas vs flooded lead-acid vs lithium powertrain.
- Base lithium vs larger XR lithium battery.
- Lifted suspension and wheel/tire packages.
- Premium seats and upholstery.
- Audio, screens and accessory packages.
- Windshield, enclosure and weather equipment.
- Dealer freight, prep, taxes and registration.
- LSV certification and street-equipment configuration.
Which Onward should you choose?
Choose the 2 Passenger if compact size and simplicity matter most. Choose the standard 4 Passenger for family/neighborhood versatility. Choose lifted 4 Passenger if ground clearance is useful. Choose an LSV only when you need a legal road-going vehicle and local rules support it. Choose the 6 Passenger when carrying five or six people is a regular requirement, not an occasional one.
Bottom line
The current Club Car Onward family covers a much wider range than one “golf cart.” Starting MSRP runs from about $10,099 for the two-passenger model to roughly $16,199 for a lifted six-passenger starting configuration, with lithium and LSV builds potentially costing more. Compare passenger layout first, then powertrain, suspension and road-use requirements before comparing dealer quotes.
