This 48V Club Car charger delivers up to 18 amps for lead-acid battery packs and uses the common 3-pin Club Car charging connection. It is intended for 48V Club Car platforms such as Onward, Carryall, Tempo, DS, and Precedent, but the exact charging setup still matters because older carts can use an onboard computer system.
An OBC bypass wire is included for compatible 1995-2010 Club Car DS and 2004-2014 Precedent 48V applications. Other supported 48V lead-acid Club Car carts can use the standard 3-pin connection when the charging system matches. The charger automatically adjusts output during the charging cycle and uses color indicators to show fast charging, normal charging, near-full charging, and full-charge status.
The aluminum housing is rated IP67 for resistance to water and dust, and an internal cooling fan helps manage operating temperature. Built-in protection covers overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, reverse connection, and overheating.
