EZGO TXT Dimensions, Weight and Specs

A standard two-passenger E-Z-GO TXT is about 93 inches long, 47 inches wide and roughly 67.5 inches high with a canopy in representative factory specifications. Wheelbase is about 66 inches and ground clearance about 4.5 inches. Exact weight and length vary between gas, electric, Freedom, fleet and modified versions.

Representative E-Z-GO TXT dimensions

Specification Typical TXT reference
Overall length About 93–93.5 in
Overall width 47 in
Height without canopy About 46.5–47.5 in
Height with canopy About 67.5 in
Wheelbase 66 in
Ground clearance About 4.5 in
Common stock tire 18 x 8.50-8

E-Z-GO manuals for TXT gas and 48V electric models show small specification differences, so use these numbers as a planning reference rather than a universal measurement for every year.

Gas TXT weight

An official TXT EX1 gas specification lists roughly 723 pounds dry and about 739 pounds curb weight for that configuration. Other gas years can differ because engines, body equipment, roofs and accessories changed.

48V electric TXT weight

A 2014 TXT 48V fleet specification lists about 557 pounds without batteries and roughly 935 pounds curb weight with six 8V lead-acid batteries. That difference shows why battery type matters when calculating trailer payload or lifting the cart for service.

Freedom TXT can be slightly longer

A representative 2014 Freedom TXT electric specification lists 93.5 inches overall length rather than the 93 inches shown for some fleet models. Personal-transport equipment, bumpers and trim can create small dimensional changes even within the same platform.

Rear-seat kits add length

A four-passenger conversion extends behind the factory two-seat body. Rear footplates, grab bars, hitches and cargo accessories can add even more. If you are buying a cover or trailer, measure the finished cart rather than using the original two-passenger specification.

Lift kits and tires change height

A lifted TXT can be considerably taller than the stock canopy height. Tire diameter also contributes to ground clearance and total height. If you plan to use 20-, 22- or 23-inch tires, confirm suspension clearance, wheel offset and lift requirements before ordering.

TXT turning and transport considerations

Representative factory specifications list a turning radius around 9.5 feet. For transport, wheelbase is less important than the cart’s complete footprint, including rear seats and accessories. Tie the cart down using suitable structural points and follow the trailer manufacturer’s load limits.

TXT vs RXV dimensions

The TXT and RXV are close in basic two-passenger footprint, but they are different platforms with different suspension, braking, drivetrain and accessory fitment. Do not use similar overall dimensions as evidence that parts are interchangeable.

See EZGO TXT vs RXV for the platform differences and EZGO TXT models and years for the production timeline.

Check the exact model before ordering

Use the manufacturer’s serial/model information and the manual for the specific year when you need service data, battery configuration, torque specifications, wiring information or exact curb weight. Used TXT carts are frequently modified, so the actual vehicle can differ substantially from its factory specification.

Bottom line

For a standard TXT, about 93 inches long, 47 inches wide, 67.5 inches high with a roof and a 66-inch wheelbase is a useful baseline. Confirm the exact year and measure modified carts directly before buying a trailer, enclosure, cover or other size-sensitive accessory.
